Rosecott

Description

This luxurious, simple and stylish reverse level property is thoughtfully designed to enjoy the stunning uninterrupted countryside views across the far west of Cornwall to the sea.

Set within the grounds of the owner’s home, up a short unmade private path, gorgeous Rosecott has two beautifully appointed bedrooms on the ground floor. Both are en suite and dressed in luxury bed linens. Bedroom 1 has a super-comfy king-size double bed, the other has a ‘zip and link’ bed which can be a super-king double or twin beds, making this a great place for a family or two couples.

The spacious first floor living area is open plan and has solid wood floors covered with Persian rugs, comfortable furnishings and houses a modern roaring wood-burner making this cosy and warm out-of-season and, with the lovely enclosed garden, perfect in summer too.

Just a short drive from the surfing mecca that is St Ives, a favourite with artists for generations, there are a plethora of bistros, cafes and traditional inns to enjoy nearby.

To the east lie the famous golden sands of Carbis Bay, Gwithian and Godrevy. A short drive south is Mount’s Bay, relax on the sandy beach and take in the stunning views across to St Michael’s Mount.

To the west of this lovely farm sits Land’s End and the beautiful beaches of Sennen and Gwenver. For a shopping day, try the county’s capital Truro.

With plenty of bicycle and surfboard storage, and an exterior wetsuit washing down area, this is perfect for the adventurous as well as those looking to relax in style.

There is private parking for two vehicles, and in the garden is a picnicking-area. There is also a private shed for the sole use of guests; it contains a gas barbecue, sun parasol, sun-loungers and a tumble-drier.

Attractions in the area include beaches on the north and south coast, the Tate St Ives, the Eden Project, Minack Theatre and Poldark and Geevor Tin Mines.

Rosecott boasts luxury living, wonderful views with peace and plenty; it really is a top notch rural retreat.
