Praxis

Description

With the most enviable views across Trebarwith Strand out to sea, Praxis offers the perfect setting for those looking for the ultimate seaside getaway. Located in the heart of this seaside hamlet renowned for surfing, rock pooling and when the Atlantic retreats a mile long sandy beach, you can view the comings and goings of the village and the antics on the beach from your prime location of this former artist’s studio.

The cool and calm interiors will ensure you relax from the minute you step inside and you are sure to spend endless hours on the balcony and terrace area taking in the sea air and enjoying the view out to sea – it doesn’t get much better than this.

Praxis has been eclectically styled throughout and evidence that an artist was once in residence remains from the cleverly painted kitchen-area. The comfortable open plan living-room comes complete with a wonderful wood-burner making this a perfect bolthole whatever the weather.

Holiday breakfasts will be a delight as the dining-area looks out towards the sea and French doors lead out to the balcony to what has to be the best seat in the house! For meals out the village has a cafe and two pubs and, if food is high on your agenda, this area is littered with award-winning restaurants, cafes and celebrity chefs so you’re in for a real treat.

The spectacular coastline along this stretch of north Cornwall is stunning and walking the coastline is an absolute must. Tintagel is just around the corner, which is steeped in history and Arthurian legend, and the harbour side village of Boscastle with its award-winning farm shop and restaurant is well worth a visit. Picture perfect Port Isaac of Doc Martin and Nathan Outlaw fame is a short drive away, as are Polzeath and trendy Rock. Take the foot ferry from Rock across to much loved Padstow or hire some bikes and cycle there along the Camel estuary from Wadebridge.

All in all there’s much to do, so one visit will simply not be enough, but we are sure once you have discovered this little gem you simply won’t resist coming back time and time again!
