Bunnell Cottage

Description

Close to the head of Bunnell Creek, a tranquil tree-lined estuary originating from the Helford River, this delightful, traditionally furnished former farmhouse is perfect for a truly relaxing holiday.

French doors from the colourful cottage garden at the front open directly into the sitting-room, with its beamed ceiling, large inglenook fireplace and welcoming wood-burner. A narrow cottage staircase leads to the bedrooms and the bathroom.

Beyond the sunny conservatory, the patio is ideal for outdoor meals and enjoying the serenity of the beautiful garden before you. The Owner lives next door in a separate, completely self-contained part of the house.

Believed to date back to the 17th Century, Bunnell Cottage lies at the end of a well-maintained farm track in a gloriously peaceful setting.

The Owner is always happy to provide directions to the many beaches, picturesque fishing coves and numerous other delights the Lizard peninsula has to offer, and you are sure to be enthralled by the many wonderful walks meandering through this woodland idyll, where wildlife positively abounds.
