The Linhay
Description
Tucked away down leafy country lanes, The Linhay is a wonderfully restful retreat in a tranquil location. Beautifully presented throughout, and with easy access to explore the untamed beauty of Bodmin Moor and the drama of the north Cornish coastline, this is a perfect get away from it all escape for couples, families and friends alike. Great care and attention has been given to the overall quality, decor and styling of this gorgeous semi-detached cottage by the welcoming Owners, who live next door.
Step down into the light and airy sitting-room where you are sure to spend many an hour cosied up in front of the wood-burner and this leads through to the dining-room and stylish kitchen overlooking the back garden.
Open up the stable-door to enjoy morning coffee on the terrace, the perfect spot to make plans for the day, listen to the sounds of the countryside or watch younger members of your group playing games on the lawn; all in all you have 3/4 acre to enjoy!
Upstairs two beautifully appointed bedrooms with super-comfy beds will ensure a good night’s sleep, setting you up for another great day in north Cornwall.
Straight from your doorstep you can enjoy rambles along the country lanes or for stretching those legs a little more, the clifftop footpaths are a must.
Whilst at the coast explore the delightful harbourside villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac or discover the myths and legends of King Arthur at Tintagel. If you are in search of a lazy beach day the golden sands of Crackington Haven and Polzeath beckon, and for those who want to catch up on some Cornish history, the National Trust Houses of Lanyhdrock and Cotehele are easy to reach.
You can stock up on local produce in the market town of Launceston but as north Cornwall is renowned for its fine food, why not enjoy some Cornish hospitality at a village pub, local farm shop or one of the many restaurants owned by celebrity chefs – well you are on holiday!
