Higher Prospidnick Cottage

Description

With its delightfully private garden, this little Grade II Listed thatched cottage lies down a short unmade lane on the edge of Nancegollan, a small village straddling the Helston to Camborne road. Inside is typical of an older cottage; low ceilings and doorways, some internal steps, and steep cottage stairs dividing at the top with a bedroom to either side.

Downstairs are a shower-room, a small but well-equipped galley-style kitchen, and an unexpectedly large dining-room complete with feature inglenook fireplace. Perfect for snuggling up on cooler days, the cosy little sitting-room next door has a wood-burner and just outside, the pretty garden and patio overlook open fields. The hospitable Owners, across the driveway, are the only immediate neighbours.

The wonderful beaches and coastal footpaths of both north and south coasts are only a few miles away, making Higher Prospidnick Cottage an ideal central base for exploring Cornwall. And after a busy day out and about a barbecue at the far end of the garden (well away from the thatch!) is a lovely way to enjoy a relaxed, peaceful evening outdoors.
